Obituary notice for Family Member-Myrna Ruth Ellen Mackenzie- FM 108


 

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Myrna Ruth Ellen MacKenzie (nee Crosby), 75, on 20 October 2021 at Kingston, Ontario. Daughter of Mason and Ruth Crosby, Myrna was raised in Brownsburg, Quebec. As a military spouse, Myrna was fully involved in the military communities in which she lived. She worked in a variety of jobs over the years, but is best remembered as the Kit Shop Supervisor of the Communications and Electronics Museum in Kingston. Myrna was deeply committed to her Christian faith and supported a wide variety of Christian causes. Myrna enjoyed choral singing with a variety of groups, and for a time was a member of the Sweet Adelines chapter in Kingston. She was predeceased by her husband, John MacKenzie, and is survived by her son, John (Jay) MacKenzie. A funeral service will not be conducted; however, Myrna will be interred in London, Ontario, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or to the Margaret Rodger Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lachute, Quebec.

1934-2021

 Clyde Wagner age 87 of Rockport, ON passed away peacefully in his sleep with his loving wife beside him after a long illness on October 7, 2021. Husband of Carol Ann (née Devine) and father to sons James Christopher and John Clyde (Steven Tetz). Son of the late Leslie James and the late Marion; brother of the late Lila (late John) Patton and the late Jean (late Warren) Buckley; dear uncle of the late John David Patton, Leslie Ann (Neil) O’Conner née Patton, Diana Jean (Jim) Laverty née Patton, Julie Elizabeth Patton and Andra Jones née Buckley. Retired Captain James Clyde Wagner was a proud 39-year veteran of the Royal Canadian Signals Corp and Communications Command. Clyde was also a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus (Fourth Degree). Funeral Mass will take place 11:00 am Friday October 22, 2021 at St Brendan’s RC Church in Rockport, ON.
