LIBBY, Richard John, CD - 1928 - 2012 - Richard passed peacefully at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Predeceased by wife Mary (2000) and survived by dearly beloved companion Jennifer Clarkson of Napanee. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Marjorie Finlay (Bruce) of Napanee, and his brother Albert (Doris) of Toronto, and also fondly remembered by Linda Iddison (Roger) of Mississauga, Richard Curtis (Mary-Anne) of Oakville and their families. Friends will be received at WARTMAN FUNEAL HOME “Napanee Chapel“ on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel. Reception to follow. A private family interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Veteran of WWII, Merchant Navy Communications Specialist, retired from C.F.S. Leitrim, dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star). In hospital in Kingston on Friday March 30th, 2012 in her 90th year. Elizabeth was predeceased by her sister Dora Carter, brother Bill Prescott and nephew James "Jim" Carter, she will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Cecile Prescott, Valerie and Tom Bowes, Patrick and Victoria Muir, all her family and friends. Friends and family will gather at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Thursday April 12th, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. for a time to celebrate her life. Interment will be held later in Toronto with her family. Passed away at the Welland County General Hospital on Tuesday March 20, 2012 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Felicia (nee-Buchanan) for 53 years and loving father of John (Sandre) and Paul. Cherished grandfather of Mark and Kaitlin. Dear uncle of Matthew, Keltie, Donald and Gordon. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Vina MacDonald, brother Ken and sister Doris. Gordon was a life member of the Port Colborne Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56 where he was a Past Secretary for many years. He was an avid bridge player and stamp collector. A special thanks to the PSW workers at St. Elizabeth for their compassion and loving care provided for the past 10 months. Cremation has taken place. Gordon’s family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Armstrong Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 56 Port Colborne would be appreciated by the family.

Maurice James “Moe” Bozman born July 4, 1931 passed away peacefully in his Chilliwack home on March 13, 2012. He is predeceased by his wife Eileen (1993) and four siblings. Moe is survived by his daughters: Lorraine (Alex) and Sandra (Russell); grandchildren: Victoria, Robert, Cameron and Christine; two sisters: Trudie and Joan (Wally); long-time companion Gail, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. “Maurice proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces (Signals) for 31 years.” He loved to golf, square dance and enjoyed a good jigsaw puzzle. He will be fondly remembered for his dedication to volunteering, his wit and sense of humor and most importantly the love he had for his family. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 1:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 280 5661 Vedder Rd. in Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Moe may be made to a charity of your choice including the Communications and Electronics Museum.

STUCKLESS, Robert Gerald - Peacefully, surrounded by love, Bob died at Rideaucrest, on Thursday, March 8, 2012 in his 83rd year. He will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend Marlene after 51 years of marriage. Father of Terry Stuckless, Carol (Glen) Fitzpatrick, and Gary (Corina) Oake. Grandfather of Michael, Tori, Amanda, Paul, Nichole, Heather, Jason, and of 5 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his parents Isaac and Gertrude. Brother of Frank, Ethel, Rol, Alf, Becky, Naomi, Lillian, Walt, Jerry, Lewis, Faye and Goldie. Predeceased by 3 siblings - Bill, May and Carl. Also fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Bob was a proud veteran serving with the Royal Canadian Signals Corp. The family would like to thank the staff of Gardenwalk for their wonderful care and support over the past 4 years. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard. GEORGE WALTER CHASE of Chipman passed away at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton on Thursday, February 2^nd, 2012 at the age of 82. Walter was born in Brigg’s Corner on September 10^th, 1929 son of the late Cecil and Verna (Murray) Chase.
Survived by his loving wife, Joyce; three daughters, Tamara (David) Duke of Lorneville, NB; Karen (Scott) McCoy of Lincoln and Kathy Chase of Kingston, Ontario; two sons, Nicholas (Jo-Ann) Chase and Dale (Dyann) Chase, both of Chipman; four step-daughters, Carla Briggs (Kevin Fairweather) of Chipman, Jill (Tony) Branscombe of Chipman, Valerie (Lowell) Blyth of Chipman and Nancy Briggs of Fredericton; two brothers, Wendell (Joanne) Chase and Allison (Rowena) Chase both of Chipman, also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Willard and Burns.

Walter loved bowling, curling and his church, where he would ring the bell for the Sunday morning service. Walter was first employed as a logger, then worked for DOT. In 1959 he joined the military where he served in the Canadian Military as MCpl CHASE, G.W. CD RCCS from October 1959 to February 1985. Walter had a large and extended family that he loved dearly.

Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Tuesday, February 7^th, 2012 when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Yvette Swan officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, on Monday, February 6^th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Legion service will be held on Monday evening at 6:45. Memorials to the Chipman Bowlarama, Chipman United Church or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Spring interment will be in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery.
