On the 4th of April 2018 at Maisonneuve Rosemont hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Mr. Bruno Gerald Lapierre, husband to Susan Whalen passed away at the age of 61.
Born on September 29, 1956, to Geraldine Cloutier and the late Jean-Baptiste Lapierre, Bruno, denturist by trade for 38 years, served in the Canadian Army Reserve from 1973 to 1999.
Including his spouse Susan, he is survived by his son, Adam (Edith); daughter, Sarah (Jonathan); grandchildren Liam, Owen, Eva, and Ares; sister, Andrée; brothers, Louis and Daniel (Celine); godchildren, nieces, nephews, numerous friends and colleagues.
His spouse Susan Whalen wishes to thank the staff, medical team and doctors who treated Bruno at Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital. Their efforts allowed Bruno to spend more time to live with his family and friends, and that he did until the very end.
Donations in Bruno's name to the Canadian Cancer society's Relay for life team “Hope Pray Cure” are welcome and appreciated. Friends, Colleagues and family members are welcome to attend the celebration of life service that will be held on Sunday, April 29 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at CFB Longue-Pointe Garrison, building 152, 6560 Hochelaga (corner Langelier), Montreal, Quebec.
