RONALD JOHN KNAPTON

"DISTINGUISHED 38 YEAR MILITARY CAREER CULMINATING AS THE BASE REGIMENTAL SEGEANT MAJOR OF CFB KINGSTON"

Passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences, Centre on Wednesday December 11, 2019 at the age of 89. Ron Knapton, beloved husband of the late Joan Garrah. Much loved father of Jim (Dawn), Bruce (Sandy), Donna Wright, Chris (Barb) and Cheryl Knapton. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 son Steven Knapton, by 2 brothers William and Bob Knapton and by 1 sister Phyllis Lusk. Also survived by sveral nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service ill be held at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery on Monday December 16 at 11:30AM. A Celebration of Ron's Life will then be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br#92 Gananoque from 1:30-3:30PM. As expressions fo sympathy donations made to the UHKF (ICU Dept) would be appreciated. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff, nurses and doctors at the Kingston General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion while Ron was in their care.

We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2019 , at the age of 79 Raymond Clowes (Fenelon Falls Ontario) passed away. He was predeceased by his brother Leigh Clowes. He is survived by his wife Lynda Ann Clowes, his children, Jeffrey Clowes, Cathy (Kevin Smith), Todd Clowes (Denise) and Rob Clowes (Cheryl), his grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Tyler, Cody, Jennifer, Ashley, William, Coleman and Cora.

If desired memorial donations to Alzheimer Society Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated and may be arranged by Jardine Funeral Home, Cremation and Tribute Centre, 8 Princes St W. Fenelon Falls Ontario.
