Michael passed away after a valiant struggle with leukemia. Beloved husband of Wendy Curtis (Newcombe) married 60 years. Survived by two sons David Gordon (Debbie), Steven William (Sue) and granddaughters Jessica and Jamie. Remembered by brother Fredrick (Cecile). Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Ruth Curtis. Michael was a dedicated military man joining the forces at age 17. He enjoyed his various postings at bases across Canada. During his retirement years Michael volunteered helping others with income preparations, served on the cemetery board, researched family ties for genealogy. He was always there to help family members when needed. A private celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date.
