Obituary Notice for William G Kiely (LM426)
WIELY, William G. 1929 - 2011 Passed away at home in Burlington, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Georgina Kiely (nee Pineau). Loving father of Kevin, John, Scott, and the late Glen Kiely. Proud and devoted grandfather to Shawn, Adam and William. Dear son of Catherine (nee Skeans) and James J. Kiely. Caring brother of Richard (Marion Meehan), Ann (Harris Young), Margaret (James Britten), Rita (Joseph Howe), James (Thelma Gallant), Noreen, Marie (George Coughran) and loved by numerous nieces and nephews. William was a proud and decorated veteran, generous beyond compare, compassionate, loving, and a storyteller with no equal. He will be missed by all who had the great pleasure to know him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada

Bill was my NCO i/c (Sergeant) in Charlottetown for NS/PEI Sigs in 1961. We have kept in touch for all these years meeting in Burlington for coffee a number of times. Bill rose to CWO but would not take his commission and we who knew him "bugged him" about it. I'll surely miss him and we, my wife and I send our deepest sympathy to his family.
