Peacefully, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Sunday, July 17, 2011 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Doris May Buchanan. Loving father of Brian and his wife Marilyn of Penticton, B.C. and Kathy and her husband Butch Preston of Belleville. Cherished grandfather of Pat and his wife Jen (Gabriola, B.C.), Laurie and her husband Rod (Kingston), Dann and his wife Tammy (Brockville), Heather and her husband Alex (Osgoode), and Jenn and her spouse Carla (Belleville). Loving great grandfather of Brittney, Nicole, Lauren, Jordyn, Zachary, Brody, Ariana, Aidan, and Cadence. Brother of Frank (Deanna), Eddie (Rita), and Margie. Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Colborne St. (at Clergy St.) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7- 9 p.m. Liturgy of the Word will be held in our Chapel on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family
