Hicks, Leonard Frank

Raised in Upper Dover, New Brunswick and died peacefully with family by his side at Kingston General Hospital on Monday, July 10th, 2017 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Gerdie for 54 years. Father to Brenda ( Robert), John, and Leanca (Jeff). Grandfather to Cody, Eric, Deanna, and Jenna. Devoted fan of the Montreal Canadians.

Leonard joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1959, served his Country in Germany, Egypt, and after 28 years he and Gerdie were able to retire young and enjoy cottage life, Len's passion for fishing, and travel.

An intelligent man who was also a skilled handyman, Len always gave great advice and help.

Following Len's wishes, a private family memorial service with internment will take place following cremation.
