He was predeceased by the love of his life, our mother, Ethel Mary Willingham in 1994 after 53 years of marriage, his daughter Dianne Mary Vincent and his natural brother Derek Fuoss. Dad was born in Matlock, England on September 29, 1918 and immigrated to Canada as a young boy. He began his life long career with the T. Eaton Company in 1932 as a very young man and married our mom on August 10, 1940. He then served in the Second World War as Staff Sergeant in the 10th District Signal Corps from 1942 to 1946. After the war, dad and mom moved to Charleswood. Dad was one of the men to lay the original cornerstones for the school that his son, daughters and grandsons all attended - Royal School. He retired from Eatons in 1981, after 49 years of service, to spend time with mom and see a little bit of the world outside of Manitoba. Dad gave his all to his family, his community and his church, St. Mary's Anglican. He was a wonderful loving father and grandfather to all of us and we will miss him dearly. He lived a happy and fulfilling long life and enjoyed every moment! Even though we will miss him, we are so happy to know that he is now reunited with our mom and sister. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff in Tower 4 at Deer Lodge. They treated him with love, respect and dignity and for that we will be eternally grateful.
